Questions to Ask Yourself When You Declutter:
Decluttering is not moving items from one place to another. It's important to know what to keep and what to rid. So, here are some guiding questions.
Is this something I regularly use?
If not, is this something that I love and sparks joy?
Could someone else use it more than me?
When was the last time I used this?
Am I keeping this out of obligation or expectation?
Am I saving this just in case I'll need it... someday in the future?
Do I have multiples?
Am I holding onto a broken item to fix "someday?"
Am I putting this i the junk drawer because it doesn't have a place or purpose?
What else could I use this space for?
When decluttering, every single item needs a home. This challenge, will literally challenge and encourage you to reduce clutter and organize your home. Here are four categories where each item should go.
